Afrobeats Radio was formed in 2010 in East London and by Samuel Buabeng (Lord Sega), who started his radio journey at the University of Ghana Radio Univers station. He started working on online radio stations when he moved to England in 1998. Samuel is currently the CEO of Sega Media Services which provides radio equipment, installation, and maintenance services and also provides streaming services to radio stations around the world. Sega Media Services is the parent company of Afrobeats radio and other stations like Christain Radio  Uk and GHpure Radio. Afrobeats radio has studios in both London and Ghana.
